Charlotte Wilson Research Services will only collect or process personal data if it is necessary for the purpose of the research.
The personal data that may be collected and processed about you may include:
- Information on your gender, age, ethnicity or other personal details, collected as part of a research survey (you do not have to answer these questions if you prefer not to)
- Your contact details (address, phone number, email), to enable quality checks to be conducted or prize draws to be administered, etc.
- Data on your opinions, behaviours and experiences in relation to the topics within the survey.
Personal data will never be shared with other parties without your express agreement. Only aggregated anonymous, statistical results of the research will be published. Your participation in the research, together with your individual responses to the questions will not be identifiable in any research reports.
Personal data held about you will only be used to:
- Contact you in relation to prize draws you have entered as part of a research survey
- Conduct quality checks relating to survey fieldwork
- Contact you about taking part in further research, if you have agreed to this
- Responding to a contact from you in regard to the research
- Analyse aggregated research results
At the end of research projects, Charlotte Wilson Research Services will securely delete any contact details you may have provided, leaving only anonymous research data, unless otherwise stated in the survey. The anonymous research data will be kept permanently. For qualitative research recruitment, respondent details will be kept on file, to ensure individuals are not inappropriately re recruited for further projects.
